The mission of South Metro Land Conservancy is to acquire or otherwise preserve open space lands to enhance the quality of life of present and future generations.
South Metro Land Conservancy is a group of concerned citizens dedicated to this mission in Arapahoe County, Colorado. We believe that preserving our natural heritage and our quality of life within the urban landscape as well as in remote areas goes hand in hand with responsible development. We strive to work with and educate citizens and other decision makers on the importance of open space needs and values.
SMLC is now seeking opportunities in Eastern Arapahoe County. We anticipate holding conservation easements, partnering with other entities and advocating for the preservation of natural open space in all of Arapahoe County.
