The mission of South Metro Land Conservancy is to acquire or preserve open space lands to enhance the quality of life of present and future generations.
South Metro Land Conservancy is dedicated to this mission in Arapahoe County, Colorado. We believe preserving our natural heritage and our quality of life within the urban landscape as well as in remote areas goes hand-in-hand with responsible development. We strive to collaborate and educate on the importance of open space needs and values.
SMLC is now seeking additional opportunities throughout Arapahoe County. We hold conservation easements, partner with other entities and advocate for the preservation of natural open space.
